Basket, a type known in Wales as 'gwyntell' or 'cintell' made from hazel and willow. At one time, there were basket makers in every farming community. They needed few tools but a great deal of skill to make baskets for use in the everyday work of the farm. One such maker was James Walters, a farmer from west Wales, who made this from willow and split hazel. These baskets were made for a variety of tasks such as feeding farm animals.
